Created after the success of ‘The Mum Hub’ Facebook Support Group.
Hi I’m Jess, proud mum of Baxter & Lily. I’m a Photographer, some say a Social Media expert, a PND survivor, formula feeder, wine drinker, and a big advocate of the ‘you do you’ approach to parenting. When I first had Baxter I noticed most resources for mums were extremely one sided and laced with a hot sauce of judgement and guilt. I started writing my personal blog at newmumclub.com as a way of venting my struggles as a new mum, and was shocked to find so many others who related to my experiences. From there I started my Facebook group: The Mum Hub which bloomed to 20,000 members within months, and which remains one of the most supportive and carefully moderated parenting support groups out there. After months of watching mums posting the same questions again and again I thought there must be a better way for new parents to get great information, so I set about establishing this website. We aim to have the internet’s most bullshit-free resource site for new mums, a place where you can get helpful answers to your questions and great ideas for enjoying the crazy days of parenting little ones.
